TORONTO — Loblaw Cos. here selected Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management Solution to support its distribution center operations.

The system is designed to support collaboration and communication with a network of suppliers and partners and enable warehouses to optimize space, labor, inventory and equipment.

"Loblaw is focused on improving its warehouse operations to enhance the efficiency and delivery to our stores and customers," said Catherine Booth, senior vice president, information technology, Loblaw, in a statement, adding that the system “provides a proven solution for a grocer of our size that will help us advance our distribution center operations."
