TORONTO — Loblaw here has signed a license agreement to leverage supply chain systems from JDA Software, Scottsdale, Ariz. The systems include a supply and demand optimization solution, as well as a transportation and logistics management solution that manages supplier and carrier relationships. The systems represent “an essential step toward strengthening our ability to drive supply chain enhancements in forecasting, replenishment and transportation,” said Catherine Booth, senior vice president of information technology at Loblaw.
