ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Natural-products distributor Tree of Life said Friday that it would close its distribution center in Albany, N.Y., on Aug. 31, and transition the business from that DC to a new facility near Allentown, Pa.
The company said the 311,000-square-foot DC near Allentown will bring “vastly improved distribution capacity” for the Northeast region. As previously reported, Tree of Life also will consolidate its North Bergen, N.J., facility into the new Allentown warehouse in 2010.
