There are now four Rouses Markets in Lafayette, La.

The newest one opened last week. The 55,000-square-foot supermarket will serve as an anchor for a 15-acre retail center adjacent to the Village of River Ranch.

The other Rouses Markets stores in Lafayette opened in 2009 and 2010.

According to news outlet Acadiana Advocate, the fourth Rouses Markets has a Rouse Barrel House, which specializes in selling bourbon, and what is claimed to be the largest beer, wine, and spirits section in Lafayette.

It also has a full-service seafood department that comes with an in-house boiling room.

Earlier in the month, the first Rouses Markets opened in North Baton Rouge, La.

The 44,000-square-foot location features a deli department with Boar’s Head products, a hot food bar, sushi, poke bowls, a Mongolian grill, and full-service bakery, floral, meat, and seafood departments.
