The store, operated by Inserra Supermarkets, reopened this week with roof repairs, new flooring, aisle reconfiguration and the addition of a coffee shop. The store marked the occasion with a grand re-opening celebration, which included New Milford Mayor Mary Ann Subrizi.

“We are thrilled to open the doors once again at ShopRite of New Milford and welcome our customers back to this location,” Lawrence Inserra, president and CEO of Inserra Supermarkets said. “We appreciate the patience and loyalty of our customers as the store underwent these necessary renovations after the roof collapsed and are confident the upgrades will offer an improved shopping experience.”

Inserra Supermarkets provided free shuttle bus service throughout the course of the store closure to its ShopRite of Emerson.
