MINNEAPOLIS — Cub Foods, owned by Supervalu, is offering flu shots in two ways this season. First, certified Cub pharmacist immunizers will be available to administer flu shots to adults 18 and older at most Cub Foods locations, by appointment, during regular pharmacy hours. Second, through January, in-store Flu Fighter flu shot clinics will take place at specified times in all Minnesota Cub Foods locations. Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency registered nurses will administer the shots and will serve both adults and children ages 5 to 18 who are accompanied by an adult. “There is a natural relationship between pharmacy and food. As a part of Supervalu and the Supervalu Pharmacies network of in-store pharmacies across the country, Cub Pharmacy is in the best position to deliver innovative solutions that meet the health needs of today’s fast-paced society,” said Bill Baker, manager, clinical programs marketing, Supervalu.
