Many supermarket pharmacies are expanding beyond just dispensing medications in stores. Across the country, retailers have begun offering services such as mail-order prescriptions, in-store clinics and extra assistance for non-English speakers and the visually and hearing impaired. Experts say these pharmacies can make an impact with customers because supermarkets already have a place in the community and often stay open longer.
