SOUTHBOROUGH, MAINE — A philanthropy-friendly general-merchandise promotional product collection is available this summer from VAM Corp., here. A portion of every sale from the company's Farberware Pet Ceramics and Accessory collection will be donated to the Humane Society of Dallas, which established the city's first no-kill animal shelter, Dog & Kitty City. The products include ceramic mugs for mom and dad and assorted ceramic bowls for cats and dogs; all can be displayed on a colorful endcap display, the company said.

DVD FOR TWEENS

LACROSSE, WIS. — Starring Zac Efron of “High School Musical,” family film “The Derby Stallion” was named best feature at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2006. The DVD will be available June 5 from Echo Bridge Home Entertainment here and will be supported by print advertising in tween and teen magazines and websites, including Bop, J-14 and Teen; radio advertising in the top 30 markets; and a national sweepstakes promoted on teen-oriented websites.

HAIR CARE FOR KIDS

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Johnson & Johnson has partnered with celebrity hairstylist Rebekah Forecast to introduce two new products formulated to meet the needs of a child's specific hair type this summer. Johnson's Detangling Shampoo contains a blend of conditioning ingredients for fine/normal hair, while Johnson's Extra Conditioning Shampoo contains ingredients for wavy/curly hair. Forecast has been appearing as a guest on TV and radio stations across the country, the company said.
