Engage Organics, known for its salt-free, sugar-free and organic seasoning mixes, has added UNFI, an independent national distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods and related products, as a national distributor. “Our mission is for a healthier, tastier American diet, which already contains twice the amount of sodium recommended by the American Heart association,” says Pat Gage, Engage Organics founder and CEO. “All our seasoning blends are salt-free, sugar-free,  certified organic, gluten-free, and non-GMO, plant-based healthy flavor alternatives to salt and sugar.” Engage Organics offers 11 natural, organic, non-GMO and salt-free blends in the $3.99-$5.49 price range, including its best-seller, Garlicsaltless, as well as the Tuscany Mix, Mexi-Mix, Lemon Pepper, It’s-a-Dilly, and Sweet Cinn. Currently available in stores on the West Coast form Oregon to Los Angeles and San Diego, Engage Organics seasoning blends will now be available to retailers across the country through its distribution relationship with UNFI. Engage Organics also works closely with over 30 California schools to provide tastier, lower sodium school lunches in meeting new USDA guidelines for a healthier school meals program in the U.S. “Having UNFI as our distribution partner across the U.S. will have a tremendous impact as we try to break Americans of its unhealthy salt habit,” adds Gage. “We take the guesswork out of it, making it easy for everyone to spice up their meals without salt or added chemicals. With our Garlicsaltless, Tuscany Mix and other blends of seasonings, everyone from those on salt-restricted diets to Moms wanting to reduce their children’s salt intake can still have great-tasting meals.”
