NEW ORLEANS — The United Food and Commercial Workers union has filed an unfair labor charge against Rouses Supermarkets, claiming the retailer obstructed attempts to organize its workers.

According to the UFCW, Rouses has refused to allow union members and company workers to distribute information and engage in conversations about the process of forming a union. Rouses was not immediately available for comment.
