Agentrics’ Agreement with SINFOS to Form Largest Data Pool
Agentrics here announced yesterday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany to form a joint venture that combines the Agentrics GenSync data synchronization business unit and SINFOS, the data synchronization solution provider owned by Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Agentrics here announced yesterday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany to form a joint venture that combines the Agentrics GenSync data synchronization business unit and SINFOS, the data synchronization solution provider owned by Pironet NDH and GS1 Germany. This new company will focus on accelerating the adoption of global data synchronization by retailers and consumer goods manufacturers. The new company will serve over 3,000 companies, including more than 50 of the world’s largest retailers, effectively resulting in the world’s largest data pool, according to Agentrics. "Agentrics and SINFOS have the combined strength to accelerate the adoption of data synchronization as a shared, standard business practice between retailers and manufacturers,” said Christopher K. Sellers, Agentrics chief executive officer, in a statement. The new company will have data synchronization operations and partnerships in more than 15 European countries, as well as the U.S. and Japan.
