Food Lion, Hannaford to Offer Pay Cards to Employees

nFinanSe, Tampa, Fla., yesterday announced that it has signed an agreement with Food Lion, Salisbury, N.C., and Hannaford Bros., Scarborough, Maine, both divisions of the Delhaize Group, to be the exclusive pay card program provider for the chains’ participating employees.

SALISBURY, N.C. — nFinanSe, Tampa, Fla., yesterday announced that it has signed an agreement with Food Lion here and Hannaford Bros., Scarborough, Maine, both divisions of the Delhaize Group, to be the exclusive pay card program provider for the chains’ participating employees. Under the agreement, nFinanSe will provide nFinanSe Discover Network Pay Cards to participating employees and will manage the execution of the program, including the application of payroll payments to cards and ongoing cardholder service and support. Pay cards eliminate the need for employers to issue paper checks to employees.
