SALISBURGY, N.C. — Food Lion has promoted Scott Harrison to the positions of senior vice president of technology and efficiency and chief information officer. He replaces Terry Morgan, who became senior vice president and CIO for Delhaize Group, Food Lion’s parent company. Harrison brings to Food Lion 25 years of experience in the supermarket industry. A graduate of Thomas College in Waterville, Maine, Harrison began his career at Hannaford Bros., another Delhaize banner, in 1982. In 2000, he joined the Food Lion organization as procurement synergies manager. More recently, Harrison was vice president of operations for Food Lion’s Southern and Central divisions.
