BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Haggen here, which operates 33 supermarkets in Washington and Oregon under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy, TOP Food & Drug and Larry’s Market names, announced yesterday that it has selected the price modeling, optimization and forecasting solution from KSS Retail, Florham, Park, N.J. The system will be used by Haggen’s merchants to optimize promotional and everyday pricing and to model, forecast and measure the impact of their pricing and promotional decisions. “We look forward to leveraging KSS Retail and its optimization capabilities to improve price image, margin and sales,” said Harrison Lewis, vice president and chief information officer of Haggen, in a statement.
