CARTERET, N.J. -- Pathmark Stores here announced this week that it has retained 1010data, New York, to provide a platform for using data to assist in merchandising, marketing and store operations. 1010data will compile detailed transactional information and manage the data warehouse for Pathmark. “The ability to easily access and format important data will be extremely beneficial to Pathmark,” said Ken Martindale, Pathmark‘s co-president and chief merchandising officer, in a statement. Pathmark is the first retail client for 1010data, whose other customers include the New York Stock Exchange, Proctor & Gamble, Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan.
