SpartanNash Adds Telemedicine Services Through Bonum Health
Pharmacy patients can purchase one-time visits or monthly subscriptions. A partnership with Bonum Health will let SpartanNash pharmacy patients access telemedicine services for a one-time fee of $29 or a monthly subscription fee of $11.

SpartanNash announced a partnership with telehealth provider Bonum Health through which the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer and wholesaler's pharmacy patients will be able to access telemedicine services on a one-time or monthly subscription basis.
Fees are $29 for a one-time telehealth visit with a Bonum Health provider or $11 per month for a household subscription covering up to five monthly visits (total) for one adult and all household dependents age 18 or younger. Bonum Health providers specialize in routine and nonemergency care, a news release from SpartanNash noted, and they can send prescriptions directly to SpartanNash pharmacies.
"The SpartanNash partnership with Bonum Health promotes equitable access to U.S. board-certified providers and allows any guest who may be uninsured, underinsured or simply looking for cost savings [access to] immediate, high-quality care," SpartanNash President and CEO Tony Sarsam said in the release.

SpartanNash, which operates 150 supermarkets in addition to its distribution and military commissary businesses, currently has 86 pharmacies in Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Bonum Health operates as part of the TRxADE Group, a Land O'Lakes, Fla.-based health IT services company focused on realizing efficiencies in drug procurement and improving patient engagement.
