LAS VEGAS  — The National Grocers Association here announced the winners yesterday of its Creative Choice Awards during its annual convention here.

Winning the Best of Show —Advertising award was Mollie Stone's Markets, Mill Valley, Calif., for an ad that positioned itself as a neighborhood market and thanked customers for shopping local.

There were two winners in the Best of Show — Merchandising category:  Harmons Markets, Salt Lake City, for a multimedia campaign to promote a new urban location, and The Fresh Grocer, Greensboro, N.C., for a field trip in Drexel Hill, Pa., designed to educate grade school children about healthy eating as part of an ongoing initiative to decrease childhood obesity.
